You might have seen this on TV but it’s always good to watch a performance car going around the track. Specially this high-riding BMW X6M with a 4.4 liter twin turbocharged V8 developing 555 hp which translates into 0-60 time of 4.7 seconds and top speed of 155mph (limited).

Hot on the heels of the announcement of the brand new M Power version of its X6 SUV, BMW has released full photos and details for its other new high-flying sport ‘ute, based of the latest generation of X5. The 2010 X5 M (thank a certain snarky little Mazda roadster for the confusing nomenclature) has the same powertrain as the X6 M, but based on its structure and interior it is a bit of a different beast.

BMW’s take on the two-box SUV concept, the second-generation X5 is a high-performance, all-wheel-drive tall wagon that recently spawned a rather less-practical, slightly more sporting-oriented and questionably-styled sibling, the X6.
